Loving Annabelle, Alternated Ending Fan Fiction Contest
The next day Annabelle and the others went to class. All the girls were looking strangely at Annabelle. But Annabelle just ignored them. They wouldn’t understand anyway. Nobody would. They were done early with their classes because they didn’t have literature anymore. Annabelle, Kristin and Collins went to their room. Annabelle sighed and went to lie on her bed.
”Are you going to walk with us?”, asked Collins a little bit unsure.
”No you go I’m just going to lie here for awhile”, answered Annabelle. She didn’t want to go with them and pretend that everything was ok.
Kristin and Collins looked at each other and shrugged. The best thing to do was leave her alone for awhile. They walked away to give Annabelle her privacy and rest. Annabelle heard them walk away. And slowly tears fell. She missed Simone terribly. Suddenly she bolted upwards. She didn’t want Simone to go too jail. She didn’t deserve that just because they showed how much they loved each other.
‘What should I do? There has to be a way to prevent it.’ Annabelle thought hard. And then she got an idea. She needed someone with power who could stop it. Someone who could drop the charges. Someone like her mom.
"That’s it.” Annabelle spoke aloud to no one. She grabbed her cell phone and started to dial her mom’s number. But then she stopped.
’what if she doesn’t want to speak to me like last time? Or that she won’t do it? Then what?’ Annabelle thought.
But then the image of Simone drifted in her mind. She couldn’t let her love go to jail. She would find a way no matter what. She would call her mom until she was crazy if that’s what was needed. With the image of Simone in her head she dialled her mom’s number once again.
"Hello?" a woman’s voice. The telephone operator of her mom.
"Yeah this is Annabelle, and I need to speak my mom," Annabelle answered the woman.
"I’m sorry she is busy at the moment," spoke the woman.
"I don’t care if she’s busy I need to speak with her it’s urgent," said Annabelle starting to get angry.
"I’ll leave her a message and she can call you back," the woman said.
