For the Love of Bella
EmPOV
It was 2am and the party was still going, albeit dying down, but still kicking. Jasper must have found a girl to hook up with because he disappeared around 1am. Bella must have gone to bed around the same time as I hadn’t seen her either.
Thinking back over the nights events, I couldn’t help thinking of Bella. She looked, as I thought earlier, like my living fantasy. Her confidence was shocking as I expected her to hang out in the corner all night talking with friends. Instead she mingled and even danced with a couple of guys.
Watching her grind that guy when she was dancing was a vision to be sure. Immediately I thought that it should be me and not him rubbing up against her like that. Knowing that I shouldn’t, I decided that I still needed to dance with her. Any longer and this guy would be feeling her up and Jasper and I would not have it. Taking his place we danced for one song, and then two.
During the second song, the shot that I just had moments before in combined with the array of drinks over the night got the best of me. I pulled her towards me and started to live out my thoughts from 5 minutes before. Really not watching it, I started to rub her legs up and down. Before I knew it Jasper was there, forcing on of my hands to drop while he pushed Bella backwards with the other.
Starring at him for a minute, back to Bella and then back again, I realized what I had done. I had crossed the line with Bella and I knew it. Shame crept up inside of me as I turned to walk towards the girl that Jasper was referring to. As I retreated, I hoped to hell that Bella wouldn’t remember tomorrow what I had just done. It wasn’t something to lose our friendship over, or create awkwardness between the two of us.
Making my way over to the Blonde, she swept over me from head to toe with her eyes. Like she was predicting how good in bed I would be. Internally I was cracking up. So, was this what I looked like when I was on the other end of things? If so, I would hope that I wouldn’t be that obvious. Quietly I had chuckled to myself and closed the small gap that separated us. Then I realized, she was the blonde waitress that wouldn’t give me her number a week ago. Ah, this should be fun!
