Something Clever – (Chapter: Memories)
You hold my heart Spencer, but the only way to realize that is if you love with yours.
I read that line over and over. All of her ‘writings’ blew me away. She refused to call them poems, saying they were simply a bunch of jumbled thoughts on paper. But whatever you call them, they were all beautiful. She had such a way with words. Always knowing the right thing to say, the right thing to smooth over any situation. She had always been able to make me feel at ease. Her voice was so powerful, and i could hear her reciting this letter to me. That line hit me like a ton of bricks. I imagined Ashley holding me and speaking those loving words to me. Her voice, her words, they were like music to my ears. My god, she was so beautiful. She loved me with all of her being. I knew that. And I knew that I loved her more than anything in this world. But how I could I not allow myself to act on my love still baffled me. How I confessed my love for Ashley in a restaurant full of strangers, but could never imagine admitting to my ‘friends’ that I loved Ashley with everything inside of me perplexed me greatly. God, I was such a coward. A loser. I don’t even deserve Ashley. She deserves some one real, and courageous. Not some plastic that cared far too much about what her friends thought. She doesn’t need another person in her life that will just leave. I wake up everyday and hate myself for leaving her. Something I promised her I would never do. I was always by her side. I was there when her father died…
If you are what you say you are
A super star
Then have no fear the camera’s here and the microphone and they wanna know
Oh oh oh oh
If you are what you say you are…
"Ugh, hello??" I groggily answered. It was 2 am. Who in the world could be calling me?!
But when i was replied with only sniffles and sobs. I knew something was wrong with whoever it was. And pulling the phone away from my ear to find that this was my Ashy on the phone crying to me tore my heart into pieces. I never want this girl to hurt, I never even want her to understand the meaning of sad.

okay I just read all of this story and I have to say wow it reminds me soooo much of my ex best friend and me. like seriously, got me thinking about all the good times and stuff. yea I was totally in love with her and she completely took advantage of it. but that’s life I guess. as for your ending obviously it’s up to you and it depends on how personal you want to get but I’d like to see it end the way it really panned out. either way I’m glad I caught up.
