Spencer’s pov

  She’s still waiting for an answer. I think I’m going to just tell her the truth, their’s no point lying. I’m trying not to worry about the complications it might bring but……God why can’t I just lie to her and let what happened just be something that just happened, something easy to forget.

If I told you I completely regretted last night, “ I take a deep breath.

“It’d be a lie” I don’t know if it was a good idea telling her this. It’s simply how I felt no matter how wrong I knew it was to feel this way. It’s Madison after all. I guess it was a good thing. I see a small smile playing on the corner of her mouth. She wants to smile, and the urge to kiss her comes over me very unexpectedly . I let the feeling pass over me not dwelling on it. I’m confused as it is, I don’t want to add more to it.

“Technically I’m with Ash, Madison. But last night did mean something to me. What…. I don’t know” I told her my voice ending in a whisper.

“ I’m glad Spence. I don’t know what it means either. Come on, until last night I never though I’d kiss you much less what happened between us.”

I could feel myself blush, I shook my head a little trying to shake my blush away. Embarrassed at my own reaction. I heard her chuckle. Her hands reach towards my face, gently caressing my cheek in a tender manner. I leaned into her warm caress, letting my eyes close.

“Spence” I opened my eyes, my face still resting against her palm.

“ Your cute when you blush.” she said this in a soft voice and made me blush more. She simply smiled. Her expression soon changed and turned serious.

“What are you going to do Spence? Are you going to tell Ash you know about her and Aiden?” I combed my fingers through my blonde locks, letting out a sigh.

“ I don’t know. I want to… it hurts so much knowing that she’s been lying to me…… cheating on me….” my eyes start to tear up. I hold them in not letting myself breakdown.

“Hey now……” She came closer to me engulfing me into a hug. The blanket from the bed still encasing her body. Her arms held me, her right hand rubbing my back moving around in a comforting motion. Her grip on me becoming tighter.

“Just do what you feel is right. Tell her you know, or don’t.. But if you don’t you know she’s going to keep cheating on you. I don’t need a mirror to know I have a tear dripping down my face. She draws back from me, and cradling my face my face with both her hands as she did before but something’s different now. Looking at her now I see a glimmer of something, something I didn’t see in her eyes before. It looked like…… Hope. Hope for what I don’t know, for us? I guess I’ll have to wait and see.
