Chapter 2: Party It Up

One Week Later

It’s 6:00 and the party is at 8:00, which means I have an hour to get ready. I plan on showing up a half hour early so if Ashley and I don’t fix our problem I can leave instead of making the night even worse.

7:15

I pull up to the beach and park a block away from where the party is. It never hurt to get some exercise, and plus the fresh air will keep my head clear. I walk up to Aiden because I notice him getting the fire ready while the sun is setting.

Spencer: "Hey Aiden! It’s good to see you!" I must have startled him a little bit as he turned around to face me.

Aiden: "SPENCER!! I didn’t think that you would come, but I’m glad you did." he said while smiling at me.

Spencer: "Yeah, well I wasn’t going to come but I was convinced that I should come and try to even things out between me and Ash. But speaking of Ashley do you know where she is at?"

Aiden: "Ummm…… I knows she’s here but I’m not exactly sure where. But I saw her walk that way towards the pier if you want to go look that way for her." he said while pointing towards the pier.

Spencer: "Thanks Aiden." I said as I gave him a quick hug and walked away.

I started walking towards the pier thinking that is where Ashley would be. But not sure whether I wanted to face her right now is something I wasn’t entirely sure about. So I sat on the rocks for about five minutes just thinking of any and everything that came to my mind. But of course most of it had to do with the girl that was waiting for me underneath the pier. Knowing that I should just go talk to her I got up and finished walking my distance towards the pier.

As I started getting closer to the pier I saw Ashley sitting there. She had her back towards me, but that’s when a flashback happened through my mind.
