Ashley and I were listening to Ashley’s iPod nano. “This song is depressing,” I stated with a sigh.

“Yeah, I know,” responded Ashley with a chuckle. I’ll change the song to a happier one. Ashley did as she said. She looked at me and smiled.

“What?” I chuckled. Do I have something on my face again?

“Nope, not at all,” responded Ashley. You’re perfect. Ashley kissed me sweetly on the lips.

A couple days later, Ashley walked towards Daniel in the hallway. “Santos, we need to talk,” Ashley began. It’s important.

“Why, what about?” asked Daniel pretending he didn’t know what the subject was.

“You know well what this about,” Ashley answered angrily. I know you and how you are and I suggest you back off. I want you to stay away from my girl if you know what is good for you. She’s a good girl and doesn’t need you to mess her up like you messed up other girls.

“Are you afraid you’ll lose someone you may actually care about to a guy?” sneered Daniel. I didn’t think I’d ever live to see the day that Ashley Davies falls in love let alone with her exact opposite. I thought it might be around the time hell freezes over or the twelfth of never. Say it ain’t so.

“I’m not afraid, because what Spencer and I have is real,” Ashley stated. We are in love with one another. You will be the one who should be afraid if you continue to bother Spencer and me. If you touch her, I will kill you.

“Is that a threat, Davies?” questioned Daniel cockily.

“No, that’s a promise,” Ashley responded as she punched Daniel in his stomach. I’m a girl of my word, Santos.

“You don’t scare me,” said Daniel. I’m not afraid of a girl who I could beat in any day, at any fight. You only make me want to pursue your girl more. I can’t wait until I use your girl for a test drive. Ashley got angry and began to punch Daniel violently.

“You’ll regret saying that!” Ashley yelled. Derek appeared and tried to pull Ashley away from Daniel, but Ashley elbowed Derek in the ribs.

“What the hell is your problem?” asked Derek as he held on to his ribs. You ruined my life and now you have to ruin my brother’s life, too? The poor boy did nothing to you, Ashley and you’re attacking him.
