Spencers P.O.V.

“Spencer honey time to get up,” my mom said as she shook my shoulder. “Uhhhh mom please 5 more minutes,” I told her as I rolled back on my tummy. “Fine Spencer but when I come back in five you better be up.” “Fine,” I told her then shut my eyes. I tossed and turned so much in that 5 minutes that I just decided to get up before my mom came back up. “Spencer you up?” She yelled from the bottom of the stairs. “YES MOM I’M UP!” I yelled back down to her. She did that every morning and to be quite honest it was seriously annoying. I got out of bed and went to the bathroom to brush my teeth and put on my makeup. Once I was finished I went back to my room to find some clothes. That didn’t really take long because I practiclly dreamed about what I would wear. I deicided on a striped polo and some short shorts. I put on my topsiders and was out the door.

When I went downstairs I was surprised to find Ashley sitting on my couch. “Hey Spence you ready to go?” she Asked happily. “Uh….Wh-….Yea mom this is my friend Ashley. I met her at school the other day.” “Spencer…I know who she is she greeted me personally and asked my permission if it was ok if she could bring you to school.” my mom said looking at me like I just had a blonde momment. “Now that we got that cleared up are you ready to go now Spence?” Ashley asked for the second time. “Yea let me just get my booksack and we can leave.” “It was nice meeting you Mrs. Carlin,” Ashley told my mom as we walked out the door.

She opened the car door for me and I placed my stuff in the backseat. “That was really sweet of you to bring me this morning you know.” “Yea I know Spencer,your mom seems nice by the way.” Ashley said obviously impressed in herself. “You know Spence I’ve never done that before……for ANY of my girlfriends, so feel special.” “Ashley EVERY time I’m with you I feel special.” I told her while I looked into those gorgeous dark brown eyes of hers.
