Chapter 1

I was sitting at the beach  with My sister Kyla and a couple of our friends Madison, Jamie, Reese, and Tj. We were having a blast playing in the water and playing football. It was a beautiful day in LA like always. I was running back over to where we had all our stuff layed out and heard a little girl crying for her mommy so I went over to see if I could help her out.

Little girl: MOMMY! MOMMY!

Ashley: Hey are you lost.

Little girl: yea I can’t find my (sobs) mommy.

Ashley: Its ok I’ll help you find her my names Ashley what’s yours.

Little girl: I’m Taryne (sobs)

Ashley: well its alright I’m gonna help you find your mommy ok?

Taryne: ok

So me and Taryne went walking down the beach We made about 20 feet and we could hear Taryne’s mom hollering  for her. So we walked up toward her.

Women: TARYNE!!!

Ashley: excuse me.

Women: I can’t find my daughter have you seen her. (realizing Taryne was standing right behind her) Omg Baby why did you gop off like that.

Taryne: I’m sorry mommy I was looking for sea shells. And then I couldn’t find you and I got scared and went to look for you.

Women: its ok just never do it again. Promise

Taryne: I promise mommy.

Women: good. (noticing Ashley watching them) I’m sorry thank you so much for helping her find me. I’m Spencer (puts her hand out and Ashley takes it)

Ashley: I’m Ashley and its no problem. She’s a sweet kid. (wow this girl is beautiful)

Spencer: yea, well thank you. We should get back.

Ashley: Are you here with anybody or is it just you and Taryne?

Spencer: yes, why do you ask?

Ashley: well would you two like to come and join me and my friends.

Spencer: sure, Taryne would you like to go and hang out with Ashley and her friends.

Taryne: yes, mommy I like Ashley she helped me.

Spencer: I know baby. (looking back at Ashley) Well just let me go get our stuff.

Ashley: ok just walk down this way and you’ll see us.

Spencer: ok

Taryne: (Pullin on Spencer’s arm) Mommy I go with Ashley?

Spencer: I don’t know?

Ashley: she can come with me its fine we’ll just meet you down there

Spencer: alright behave young lady

Taryne: I will

Ashley put her hand out to the little girl and she took her hand and they walked back over to ashley’s friends. As the approached them they all turned and looked at Ashley and Taryne approaching. They were all wondering who the little girl was.

Ashley: guys this is Taryne, taryne these are my friends.

Taryne: Hi!

All: hey

They all introduced themselves to the little girl. Taryne was so excited to be around all these people she never gets to meet new people.

Jamie: Taryne how old are you.

Taryne: four and a half.

Jamie: wow such a big girl, and pretty too.

Taryne: thank you

Kyla: and very polite.

Spencer was walking over Ashley noticed her and hollered for her so she could see them she walked over Ashley introduced her to everyone and they all hung out all day and by the end of the Spencer had become friends with everybody but she mostly was interested in Ashley. Spencer and Ashley exchanged phone numbers so they could talk again soon.

Little did they know that, that day was the beginning of something neither of them thought would happen at least not at their age.
