    Aiden is a mediator between phone calls. He’s the best and we find out what’s making him tick.

    Spencer walked into the office building slowly. She was in for some hell. She entered the threshold and took an instant left. The place was bustling. Several people looked at her knowingly. Yeah, she was in some seriously deep shit. She slowed herself even more. Her boss was going to be pissed that she hadn’t turned in her piece yet. She may not be required to be in the office everyday but when her boss wanted something down, she expected it to be done.

    Spencer steeled herself for the wrath that would soon consume her as she grasped the handle to her bosses door. She took a deep breath and turned the handle abruptly. Ms. Porter looked up at her under small, stylish glasses. The blonde inhaled. She often forgot how young Ms. Porter was. That was what happened when you didn’t see her face everyday. Every now and then Spencer matched the name Ms. Porter to an old, bent over crone with a walking stick and strict deadlines. That wasn’t the case. She was barely 30 with long black hair and a smooth face.

    Her lips turned up on one side and she motioned for Spencer to sit with a pen in her hand. Spencer of course did as she was told and waited silently for her employer to get finished revising a paper. The red pen in her hand flashed across the paper making deep, bold marks. Inwardly Spencer winced for who had ever written the paper. Ms. Porter finished with a flash and capped her pen. She gingerly took the glasses that were perched on her nose and set them down on the table. Her gray eyes stared Spencer down and squelched any dreams the blonde had of lying. Something in her gaze told Spencer that it would be a bad idea.

    "I assume you know why you’re here." She asked primly.

    "Yes." Spencer replied meekly.

    Ms. Porter chuckled softly.

    "I’m not going to bite your head off Spencer. I’m concerned is all. In the seven months you’ve worked here, not once have you turned in an article late and all of a sudden out of the blue you’ve missed three."

    Spencer raised her eyes in surprise. She wasn’t used to this side of Ms. Porter.

    13. ahhh, I love it. Ash needs to get over herself though – and whats wrong with admitting you really like someone and being a bit clingy at first – shows she’s v. interested? Spence obviously feels the same! Aiden reminds me of me – it’s so great when there’s someone you’re mental about, they’re perfect for you, you get on so damn great… but actually they’re gay so you can never be with them! It’s FANTASTIC, really!! grrrr! ah well, best to swiftly move on, methinks! post more soon :-) and thanks for the shout out to yours truly Jx
