Ashley and Spencer drive along the beaches of LA for a while before stopping at a typical pizza place. The drive was full of talking, getting to know each other, and they just seemed to hit it off. 

"Mmmm best pizza in the world here you know" says Ashley 
"Well we better go inside!" Spencer laughs as she grabs Ashleys hand.

They both practically skip through the parking lot to the front door. Ashley still happy at the fact that she just held hands with Spencer.

"So what will you have? It’s on me" Ashley pulls out a roll of cash from her purse 
"OH! in that case i’ll take everything on the menu!" 

Ashley laughs at Spencers excitment "You’re really happy Spence"

Spencer notices how Ashley has already started with nicknames and does the same.

"I dont know Ash, I just feel really ….comfortable for the first time since I’ve gotten to LA."

Spencer smiles at Ashley who is already staring at her with a smile on.

MEANWHILE

At school Aiden is in the locker room after practice. He sees Glen and figures "hey another new student. another friend." Not knowing it was Spencers brother.

"DUUUUUDE! Nice job out there, but remember i own these courts."

"Haha yeah right! Ohio is taking over now baby boi!" (couldn’t resist lol)

"You’re the second person i’m meeting today, but i gotta say the other person was HOT as hell!"

"Oh yeah you guys have a lot of gorgeous girls around here."  

"Nothing like the girl i met though, I’m definitely gonna make my move on her."

Glen is wondering by now if it’s Spencer, which kinda makes him upset that some jock wants to hook up with her already.

"Well you better hope that girls name wasn’t Spencer or else i’m gonna be dribbling you on the court instead of the basketball."
"Whoa! Let me guess. It’s your sister?"
"Yeah and I have a brother here named Clay too, just incase you were planning on hooking up with him."
"Funny smart guy. Whatever this season is gonna be interesting, you don’t seem like much to handle." 

Aiden smirks at Glen. Glen is already worrying about Spencer. Little does he know who she’s with right now…

Ashley and Spencer decide to go over to the beach and relax.

"Thanks Ash, for well… being so nice to me."
"It’s no problem, why wouldn’t I? You’re gorgeous"

Spencer notices how Ashley is looking at her and what she is saying seems flirtatious.

Ashley puts her hand ontop of Spencers. She waits a second before pulling away. And a feeling of akwardness swarms around the two as if they are trapped inside a bubble that won’t pop.

"HEY um… I better be getting home before my parents start worrying." Spencer says nervously

Ashley is confused. Maybe she read Spencer wrong, but she is more afraid that she freaked her out.

"Yeah, we can go if you really want to."

"I…I really want…"

Spencer thinks to herself about what she’s feeling. It’s only the third time she’s come in contact with Ashley but everytime just feels sweeter and sweeter.

Ashley seems dissapointed, "Ok let’s go then"

Spencer cuts Ashley off

"I really want you to put your hand back where it was."

Ashley is shocked! But has the hugest smile on her face. She puts her hand back out and they lock fingers. 

"I like the way this feels" Spencer says as she plays with Ashleys fingers

"I guess you don’t want to go home?" Ashleys says with a laugh

"Not just yet…" Spencer says as she smiles at her friend 

They both stare out at the ocean for a while and watch the sunset. Not letting go of their grip on each other.

Spencer continues thinking to herself about how nice it feels being with Ashley, and although they’ve just met there is such a strong connection. She looks down at their hands and smiles.
