I never knew that everything was falling through
That everyone I knew was waiting on a cue
To turn and run when all I needed was the truth

To living gold.

I’m starting to fashion an idea in my head
Where I would impress you with every word I said
It would come out insightful,
or brave,
or smooth,
or charming
And you’d want to call me
